Intro to Collaborative Storytelling explores the creative process of devised theater. Casting aside traditionally defined roles (actor, director, playwright, etc.) this workshop offers participants the opportunity to experience first-hand how an original story can begin with an idea and evolve through artistic collaboration. The process includes ideation, personal narratives, improvisation, and use of basic actor's tools: voice, body, and imagination. Participants will examine two specific questions: "What is the story we want to tell?" and "How do we want to tell it?"
